Pests and diseases management

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to Manage pest and diseases. It is intended for students who have successfully completed level IV in Agriculture and pursuing level V in Agriculture.

At the end of this module, students will be able to prevent crop pest and diseases, conduct regular field survey/inspection/scouting, evaluate pest problems for decision making and perform pest and diseases management strategies. Students deemed competent shall have the ability to take responsibility of carrying out of a range of defined activities in crop pest and disease management the installation of water treatment system under non- directive supervision.
