To make the most of this blended learning experience, our online sessions and in-person sessions work hand-in-hand. Please note that theoretical components will be completed online, while practical activities will be conducted face-to-face.

This module is designed for you pursuing RQF level 4 in land surveying. It describes skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform earthwork computations. At the end of this module you will be able to: prepare for earthwork measurement survey data, collect earthwork measurement survey data, compute area, compute volume and produce earthwork diagrams. Qualified you deemed competent may work in various workplaces including construction companies, road design companies among others and can perform a range of tasks related to earthwork computations. He/she may work alone or with others, under minimum supervision.

This module describes the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform
surveying computations and adjustment. It is designed for students pursuing RQF
Level 4 in Land Surveying.
At the end of this module, the student will be able to apply theory of measurement
and adjustments; apply traversing computation techniques, perform intersection
computation, and perform resection computation.
