This module equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to quantify construction works and prepare accurate reports of work completed on construction sites. It is designed for learners pursuing TVET Certificate IV in Building Construction.
The course focuses on developing practical competencies in interpreting construction drawings, identifying and estimating required construction resources, collecting and recording site data, and preparing professional site reports. Learners will gain the ability to measure and quantify construction activities, monitor work progress, and support effective project management and site supervision.

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude required to create highly precise 2D designs that visualize construction drawings. It is intended to be delivered to learners pursuing TVET level IV in building construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to create, modify and plot construction drawings.

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform concrete
works on construction site. It is intended to be pursued by learners at TVET level IV in
Building Construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to: erect
formwork, mix concrete, cast concrete, dismantle the formwork as required and clean the
workplace

This module describes the knowledge, skills, and
attitude to be acquired to perform reinforced steel bars works as well as
performing all steps involved in making steel bars framework on the site. It is
intended to be pursued by the learner at TVET level IV in building
construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to select
tools, equipment and materials to be used for steel bar works, interpret steel
bars drawings, calculate cutting length, cut steel bars, bend steel bars and
tie steel bars.
