Install and Maintain Automotive Electrical System is the process of installing, inspecting, testing, servicing, and repairing vehicle electrical and electronic components to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. It involves servicing starter batteries, maintaining charging systems and starting systems, performing ignition system service, repairing lighting and signalling systems, and troubleshooting electrical system accessories. It also includes inspecting wiring harnesses, fuses, relays, switches, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs), diagnosing electrical faults, replacing damaged components, and using appropriate diagnostic tools while following vehicle manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.
