      Introduction

Veterinary diagnostic materials, tools, and equipment help technicians measure and observe various aspects of a patient's health so that they can form a diagnosis. Once a diagnosis is made, the technician can then prescribe an appropriate treatment plan.

Having knowledge of the various diagnostic materials, tools, and equipment available and how to properly use them is the first and most important step in making an accurate diagnosis of an animal patient's condition and improving their health.
