1`. GENERAL INTRODUCTION
The Production of Soil-Based Bricks and Blocks module equips trainees with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to manufacture quality bricks and blocks for construction purposes. The module covers the complete production process, from selecting raw materials and preparing ingredients to moulding, drying, firing, cooling, testing, and storing finished products. Emphasis is placed on safety, environmental management, quality control, and efficient use of materials and equipment. The competencies gained through this module enable learners to contribute effectively to sustainable construction practices and the production of durable building materials.
