FOPTP503-TEA LEAVES PROCESSING

Purpose statement: 

This competence covers skills, knowledge and attitude required to process tea leaves into tea products in a tea manufacturing factory. It is reserved for learners pursuing TVET certificate V in Food processing. Upon completion of this module, learner will be able to prepare workplace and tea leaves, ferment rolled tea leaves, dry fermented and steamed tea leaves and store graded tea product. He/she is expected to perform these tasks respecting tea quality and safety standards.
