This module describes the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to operate agricultural tractors. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET Certificate IV in Agriculture (Level 4). Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to prepare tractors and attachments for agricultural operations, operate tractors safely and efficiently in agricultural settings, operate tractors to carry out various farm operations, perform routine maintenance and inspections of agricultural tractors, implement safety procedures and risk management in agricultural tractor operations, and troubleshoot and address common equipment issues in agricultural tractor operations under minimum supervision.
