Welcome to Module PLTWS301: Install Domestic Water Supply!

Water is the lifeblood of modern modern society—and as a plumber, you are the key to bringing clean, safe water directly into homes, schools, and hospitals! In this 80-hour, hands-on module, you will transform from learning basic tools into a master craftsman capable of building complete domestic cold and hot water supply networks from scratch.

Here is what you will master during this course:

Site Preparation & Technical Surveying: Learn how to read landscapes, estimate water pressure and flow rates, and layout precise trenching routes using professional surveying tools.

Material & Tool Mastery: Work with modern materials—from PPR fusion welding to HDPE, PVC, copper, and galvanized iron pipes—using industry-standard equipment.

System Design & Installation: Build both direct and indirect water distribution networks, mount elevated storage tanks, and install cutting-edge water heaters.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Master water pressure, leak, and thermal testing to ensure every system you build meets official Rwanda Building Code and ISO standards.

By the time you finish this course, you won't just know how pipes connect—you will have built and tested a fully operational, multi-fixture plumbing system ready for real-world deployment!
