The Garment Construction module equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to construct quality garments from prepared patterns and fabric. Learners will develop practical skills in fabric preparation, cutting, assembling garment components, sewing, finishing, pressing, and quality control. The module also emphasizes the correct use and maintenance of sewing tools, machines, and equipment, as well as safe working practices. By the end of the module, learners will be able to independently construct different types of garments according to given specifications, patterns, and quality standards.
