This module is intended for Level 5 TVET trainees pursuing Certificate V in Agriculture. It equips trainees with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to supervise crop production activities, including crop establishment, crop maintenance, and crop harvesting. The module also develops trainees’ ability to plan, coordinate, monitor, and supervise cropping activities in accordance with recommended agricultural practices, safety requirements, and environmental considerations. Upon successful completion of the module, trainees will be competent to take responsibility for carrying out and supervising a range of defined crop production activities on an agricultural farm with minimum supervision, while ensuring efficient use of resources, quality work, and safe working practices.
