This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to apply basic
knowledge of soil science. It is intended to the learners pursuing TVET Certificate
IV in Agriculture. Upon completion of this module the learner will be able to
identify Soil Types and Characteristics, conduct basic soil analysis, apply Soil
Management Practices and apply Environmental and Safety practices under
minimum supervision
