HELLO, dear learners.
My name is TUYISHIME JEAN BAPTISTE, and I am your Automobile Technology trainer. I am pleased to have you in this class, and I look forward to working with you throughout our training.
In this course, we will learn both theory and practical skills related to automobile maintenance and repair. We will study areas such as engine systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, fuel systems, exhaust systems, braking systems, clutch systems, steering, wheels and tyres, and automotive electrical systems.
My main objective as your trainer is to help you:
- Understand how vehicle systems work.
- Identify automotive components correctly.
- Diagnose common vehicle faults.
- Use tools and equipment safely.
- Carry out maintenance and repair procedures correctly.
- Develop practical skills needed in the automotive workplace.
- Follow good workshop safety and environmental practices.
I encourage you to ask questions, participate actively, practise what you learn, and work together respectfully. Do not be afraid of making mistakes during learning; mistakes can help us understand what needs to be improved.
I also expect every learner to be punctual, disciplined, responsible, respectful, and committed to practical activities.
