This module describes the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to
construct electrical power lines. Upon completing this module, the learner will
be able to perform preliminary activities, carry out overhead line construction,
perform underground line construction, install substations, and perform post installation
activities. These activities ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient
transmission and distribution of electrical power from generation centres to
consumers. Competent learner in this module may work alone or with others
on routine tasks in various places.
