This course describes the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to identify and prepare women’s jacket parts, assemble the parts according to the garment design and specifications, and perform finishing operations to produce a high-quality women’s jacket. It covers part preparation, sewing techniques, joining garment components, attaching collars, sleeves, pockets, zippers, and linings, as applicable, as well as pressing, trimming loose threads, quality inspection, and ensuring the finished jacket meets required standards.
