  • Introduction

     Cultural sensitivity: It is the recognition of and respect for the different cultures that exist within a society and across the globe. Further, it recognizes that differences between cultures do exist and are based on many factors including religion, race, ethnicity, gender, education, nationality, politics, and geographic origin. Social sensitivity describes the proficiency at which an individual can identify, perceive, and understand cues and contexts in social interactions along with being socially respectful to others.
