    Did you know that there is a way to protect a wound from contamination in order to facilitate effective healing?

      

    Introduction 

    The key to effective wound repair is to create the necessary conditions that protect the wound from contamination and promotes good healing. This can be done by properly dressing the wound.

    There are many wound dressings available on the veterinary market. Depending on the wound, the dressing and application method will vary. 

    In this e-lesson, you will learn about different aspects of wound care such as identifying wound types, suturing techniques, the purpose and applications of different wound dressings, and proper aftercare. Welcome!
