What is Mycorrhization?
Mycorrhization is the formation of mycorrhiza on the roots of a plant. Mycorrhizal fungi allow plants to draw more nutrients and water from the soil that the root system would not be able to access otherwise. They also increase plant tolerance to different environmental stresses. A mycorrhiza is a symbiotic association between a green plant and a fungus.
