Welcome to Record Livestock Health and Production Parameters, a General module in the TVET Certificate III in Animal Health program. This module equips learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and attitudes required to identify, measure, and accurately record important livestock health and production information.
Learners will develop practical skills in identifying livestock, measuring health and production parameters, monitoring environmental conditions, and maintaining accurate livestock health records.
The module also focuses on recording livestock morbidity and mortality, treatment information, milk and egg production, wool, body weight, breeding, feeding, and livestock movement.
By the end of the module, learners will be able to collect reliable livestock information and maintain appropriate records that support animal health, production monitoring, disease control, and effective farm management.
