Do's and Don'ts in the Workplace

Here are best practices for the laboratory.

Make sure that you: 

  • Report to work clean and in good health
  • Dress in appropriate, clean, attire
  • Keep fingernails trimmed and maintained so that the edges are cleanable and not rough
  • Wear no nail varnish or false nails
  • Keep long hair tied back or enclosed within a cap

Please avoid: 

  • Coughing or sneezing in the work area or near food
  • Spitting
  • Smoking
  • Touching money
  • Using the phone
