This module is designed to provide learners with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and attitudes required in architectural drawing and model-making.  It introduces the preparation and proper use of drawing materials, instruments, and equipment. Learners will acquire essential techniques for producing hand-drawn architectural sketches and technical drawings, as well as develop practical abilities to fabricate accurate scale models of buildings. 

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude required to realize Building construction drawing. It is intended to be educated to learner at TVET level IV for TVET Certificate IV in building construction. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to: Prepare materials, instrument and equipment, perform free hand architecture drawings and perform scale model.

Building set out or setting out of building refers to the act of measuring and marking out a full-size plan of a building on site or Setting out a building is the process of transferring design proposals from drawings into the ground. 

This core modules describes the skills, knowledge and attitude to set out the building on the site. It is intended to be pursued by learner at TVET level III for TVET certificate III in masonry. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to select tools, equipment and materials, clear the site and set profile as required.
